Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals, then execute repairs promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
• Perform appliance repairs and service tasks with precision, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Assist with construction projects or upgrades related to building maintenance, providing technical support as needed.
• Lead small teams or coordinate with other technicians during complex repair or installation projects to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and equipment status for reporting and compliance purposes.
• Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests, troubleshooting HVAC/R failures or refrigeration issues to restore functionality quickly.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints effectively.
• Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration equipment is essential.
• Hands-on experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting electrical components, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
• Construction or building maintenance experience is a plus; familiarity with safety protocols is required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate projects efficiently.
