Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and electrical equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Maintain and repair building systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other mechanical components.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests by diagnosing problems accurately and executing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Assist with installation projects such as new equipment setup or upgrades while adhering to safety standards and construction best practices.
• Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex maintenance or repair projects to ensure timely completion.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs for accountability and future reference.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation fans, thermostats, and refrigerant handling.
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance across construction or industrial environments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with contractors during projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in diagnosing issues quickly and accurately.
• Relevant certifications such as HVAC certification or refrigeration license are preferred but not mandatory.
