Maintenance Technician at Mahogany - Holiday Home

Our company:

Mahogany is a holiday home company established in December 2024. We operate under a subleasing and property management model with currently 25+ apartments. We are now looking to hire a Maintenance Technician.

Key reponsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for keeping all properties in excellent operational condition. From preventive maintenance to urgent repairs and coordination with external contractors, you will play a key role in ensuring high property standards and a smooth guest experience.

More precisely, you will be responsible for the following:

• Performing regular preventive maintenance checks including AC systems, plumbing, electrical fittings, appliances, and general apartment condition.

• Handling minor repairs such as plumbing leaks, light and socket replacements, lock and door adjustments, furniture fixes, and basic handyman tasks.

• Cleaning and maintaining AC filters and monitoring system performance.

• Responding quickly to urgent maintenance issues impacting guest stays.

• Coordinating with external contractors when specialized intervention is required and supervising the quality of their work.

• Reporting recurring issues and maintaining basic records of maintenance activities.

• Supporting property managers when technical issues arise during guest stays or check-ins and check-outs.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in property maintenance, hospitality, or a similar operational role.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general handyman work.

• Fluency in English, spoken and basic written.

• Valid UAE driving license.
