Maintenance Technician - Decatur

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support the repair, upkeep, and performance of our plant equipment and company vehicles. This role works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair equipment and vehicle issues

• Perform routine maintenance and part replacements

• Assist with electrical, plumbing, and basic fabrication (welding/cutting)

• Maintain parts inventory and notify leadership of supply needs

• Work with production teams to minimize downtime

• Follow all safety, quality, and company standards

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of maintenance experience (vehicles/heavy equipment preferred)

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to safely operate tools and equipment

• Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Industrial setting with noise, moving equipment, and varying conditions

• Frequent standing, lifting (50+ lbs), and physical activity required

Schedule

• Full-time | Monday–Friday

• Overtime and occasional weekends as needed
