Maintenance-Technician II

Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machinery. Transport equipment (e.g., tools, radios). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for the equipment and building disconnect switches. Keep an inventory of maintenance and request parts and supplies as necessary. Ensure to communicate daily activities and issues to employees on other shifts using appropriate communication programs and standards. Demonstrate proficiency in any of the following categories, with above-average skill in two or more of the following categories and basic skill in the remaining categories: air conditioning and refrigeration, electricity, mechanics, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finishing, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy savings, and general building management.
