Maintenance Technician - Label Printing & Packaging

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of label printing and packaging machinery. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with printing technologies such as Flexo, Offset, or Digital label printing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on label printing machines (Flexo, Offset, Digital).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues.
• Ensure minimum downtime and improve machine efficiency.
• Maintain and update maintenance logs, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with production team for planned maintenance schedules.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrading of new machinery.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical field.
• 3–7 years of experience in maintenance of label printing or packaging machines.
• Strong knowledge of: Flexographic / Offset printing machines
• PLC systems and automation
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Experience in packaging or printing industry is mandatory.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle breakdowns efficiently.
• Good communication skills (English required; Arabic is a plus).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with brands like Mark Andy, Nilpeter, Gallus, or HP Indigo.
• Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices.
