Maintenance Technician - Mechanical

We are looking for young and energetic persons to join our New factory located at Selakarichal, Palladam - Chettipalayam Frontier Road, Coimbatore .

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will ensure the smooth running of all machines and equipment in the fabrication unit by performing preventive maintenance, attending breakdowns, and supporting production activities.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fabrication, CNC, and manual machines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues.
• Attend machine breakdowns quickly to reduce downtime.
• Replace worn-out parts, adjust machine settings, and conduct trial runs after repairs.
• Prepare or modify parts through basic fabrication work when required.
• Support installation, commissioning, and layout changes of new machines.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and service logs.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers when needed.
• Follow all safety rules and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications & SkillsRequired:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field with minimum 2-4 Yrs experience in Maintenance.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance in manufacturing or fabrication industry.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred (Added Advantage):

• Experience in welding, lathe operation, or fabrication work.
• Familiarity with CNC and utility equipment maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical/electronics systems in machines.
