The W Assisted Living Communities is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can handle general repairs and upkeep, and understands the importance of maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general interior and exterior maintenance and upkeep of the facility
• Walk the facility and grounds regularly to identify safety concerns, repairs, or maintenance needs
• Report any unusual conditions or issues with heating, plumbing, electrical systems, or other building equipment
• Complete basic repairs, including sheetrock, flooring, lighting, painting, and minor plumbing/electrical repairs
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and routine inspections
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for residents, staff, and visitors
• Support the overall cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the building

Qualifications:

• Basic construction, repair, or handyman experience required
• Prior maintenance experience in an assisted living facility, nursing home, healthcare setting, or residential building is a big plus
• Ability to complete basic repairs independently
• Reliable, responsible, and able to follow direction
• Must be able to interact with residents with patience, respect, and dignity
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical maintenance tasks as needed
• Flexible and willing to assist with different facility needs
