Maintenance Technician

The W Assisted Living Communities is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can handle general repairs and upkeep, and understands the importance of maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform general interior and exterior maintenance and upkeep of the facility
- Walk the facility and grounds regularly to identify safety concerns, repairs, or maintenance needs
- Report any unusual conditions or issues with heating, plumbing, electrical systems, or other building equipment
- Complete basic repairs, including sheetrock, flooring, lighting, painting, and minor plumbing/electrical repairs
- Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and routine inspections
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- Support the overall cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the building
Qualifications:
- Basic construction, repair, or handyman experience required
- Prior maintenance experience in an assisted living facility, nursing home, healthcare setting, or residential building is a big plus
- Ability to complete basic repairs independently
- Reliable, responsible, and able to follow direction
- Must be able to interact with residents with patience, respect, and dignity
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical maintenance tasks as needed
- Flexible and willing to assist with different facility needs
