Job Title: Maintenance Trainee – Drones

Location: Chennai

About the Role:

We are looking for a Maintenance Trainee who will assist in the upkeep, inspection, and repair of our drone systems. This role is ideal for someone passionate about drones, electronics, and hands-on problem-solving. You’ll learn how to ensure drones are flight-ready, safe, and performing optimally.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in routine maintenance of drones, including cleaning, calibration, and battery health checks for fixed wing and multi copter drones

Help maintain maintenance logs, service reports, and spare parts inventory.

Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to diagnose and troubleshoot drone hardware issues.

Assist in firmware updates and component replacements under supervision.

Follow all safety protocols and quality standards during maintenance activities.

Requirements:

Diploma / B.Tech / ITI in Aerospace, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Basic understanding of drone components (motors, ESCs, flight controllers, batteries, propellers).

Familiarity with hand tools and soldering preferred.

Eagerness to learn and strong attention to detail.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

• Prior exposure to UAV systems – Either fixed wing or multi copter

• Knowledge of battery management, flight control software, or data logging tools.

• Experience with 3D printing or CAD design is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,154.77 - ₹20,000.00 per month
