Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. Your goal will be to ensure our hotel premises are safe and functional for guests and employees alike. In this role, you should be organized, proactive, and reliable.

' ' ' Responsibilities ' ' '

• Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards
• Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobby and all facilities
• Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests
• Ensure the hotel's preventative maintenance program is running efficiently and proper record keeping is in place
• Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages)
• Ability to work with limited or no supervision, self-directed, and task oriented, attention to detail.
• Perform various tasks related to a variety of trades including but not limited to, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, painting, and pool maintenance to ensure an attractive and well maintained hotel

' ' ' Requirements ' ' '

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and other systems
• Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Hotel industry experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Report to work on time and work your scheduled shift, except in cases of emergency.
