Overview:
Under direct supervision of Maintenance Supervisor, performs a variety of maintenance repairs and construction to Village of Addyston. Performs repairs and maintenance of buildings, minor repairs to equipment, tools. Maintains grounds of Village property, mow grass, removes noxious weeds, empties trash, plows snow, spreads salt, painting, sweeping, cleaning catch basins, planting and maintaining flower beds, trees, shrubs, street and side walk repair, garbage pick up, preparation of holiday event, displaying and removal and repair of flags, lights and decorations, operates trucks, cleans municipal building and garage, uses and maintains power tools. Assists in inventory of all equipment and assets of the maintenance department. Shall complete daily work log and turn into Maintenance Supervisor. Performs additional duties as assigned by Mayor.

Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment and facilities in good working condition
- Utilize electrical and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair issues promptly
- Facilities maintenance, including the inspection and repair of various systems

Experience:
- Prior experience in maintenance roles, preferably in a similar setting
- Proficiency in electrical systems, mechanical repairs, grounds keeping and janitorial.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes
- Strong command of the English language for effective communication within the team

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
