Maintenance Worker

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and outdoor spaces. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a variety of maintenance tasks, landscaping projects, and groundskeeping activities that keep our environment safe, functional, and visually appealing. Duties

• Perform routine maintenance on buildings, equipment, and outdoor areas to ensure safety and functionality.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and excavators to complete tasks efficiently.
• Conduct landscape maintenance including mowing, tree trimming, pruning, planting, and gardening to enhance curb appeal when needed.
• Carry out shoveling sidewalks during winter months to maintain safe pathways.
• Assist with construction projects, hardscape installations, and repairs.
• Maintain records of completed work orders, inspections, and safety checks for ongoing facility management.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment like lawn mowers or excavators.
• Experience in construction or hardscape projects is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, operating machinery safely, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills related to maintenance issues.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
