Maintenance Worker

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment
• Conduct landscape maintenance such as mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, gardening, and planting to enhance curb appeal
• Operate power tools, hand tools, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently for landscaping and hardscape projects
• Maintain irrigation systems, perform snow plowing during winter months, and ensure proper drainage and water management
• Assist with tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety
• Support general building maintenance by fixing fixtures, painting, cleaning gutters, and addressing minor repairs
• Collaborate with team members on larger projects involving landscape design or construction of outdoor features

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating power tools and landscaping equipment
• Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance, horticulture, and gardening techniques
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for various repair and maintenance tasks
• Experience with snow plowing or winter weather preparedness is a plus
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, tree care procedures, and hardscape installation preferred
• Prior experience in construction or general maintenance roles is highly desirable
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in all weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects safely
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; certification in equipment operation (such as excavator) is advantageous
