1. Patient Care:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Monitor patients’ conditions, identify any complications, and take prompt action as required.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and other prescribed treatments accurately and safely.
2. Clinical & Technical Duties:
- Assist physicians during examinations, diagnostic tests, and surgical or emergency procedures.
- Maintain and operate medical equipment safely and ensure proper calibration and upkeep.
- Handle wound dressing, catheterization, IV cannulation, and other nursing procedures with proficiency.
- Ensure infection control practices are strictly followed in all patient care activities.
3. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records, nursing charts, and reports.
- Record and report patient progress, incidents, or emergencies promptly to the medical team.
- Ensure proper handover of patient care during shift changes.
4. Supervision & Training:
- Guide and mentor junior nurses, nursing assistants, and trainees.
- Conduct bedside teaching and participate in staff training programs.
- Support the implementation of hospital policies, nursing standards, and quality improvement initiatives.
5. Emergency Response:
- Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies (e.g., cardiac arrest, trauma, critical conditions).
- Perform life-saving procedures such as CPR and assist in emergency interventions.
6. Coordination & Communication:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic patient care.
- Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and families regarding treatment and care plans.
- Promote patient education and emotional support.
