Mall Leasing Manager

We are looking for a Leasing Manager to lead the leasing function for commercial spaces within a mall or mixed-use project. The role is responsible for driving tenant acquisition, managing leasing strategies, overseeing negotiations and contract execution, and maximizing occupancy and revenue in line with approved policies, commercial objectives, and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the mall’s leasing strategy to achieve occupancy, tenant mix, and revenue targets.
  • Identify, approach, and secure local and international brands and prospective tenants for available commercial spaces.
  • Lead lease negotiations and ensure commercial terms are aligned with approved guidelines and business objectives.
  • Review, approve, and oversee the preparation and execution of leasing contracts and related documentation.
  • Manage lease renewals, rent reviews, and renegotiations while maintaining strong tenant relationships.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, tenant demand, and rental benchmarks to enhance leasing performance.
  • Recommend pricing strategies, leasing campaigns, and promotional initiatives to improve occupancy and revenue generation.
  • Ensure alignment of tenant mix with the mall’s positioning, customer profile, and commercial strategy.
  • Coordinate with Finance on rent collection follow-up, outstanding dues, and leasing-related financial matters.
  • Work closely with Legal, Operations, Engineering, and Marketing teams to support leasing transactions and tenant onboarding.
  • Oversee unit handover and takeover processes in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders and tenants.
  • Resolve escalated tenant issues and leasing disputes in a professional and commercially sound manner.
  • Prepare periodic reports on occupancy, vacancy, leasing pipeline, revenue performance, renewals, and market activity.
  • Ensure compliance with leasing policies, contractual obligations, and all applicable commercial and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, coach, and monitor the performance of leasing team members to ensure high standards of execution.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in leasing, preferably in malls, retail, or commercial real estate.
  • Prior experience in managing leasing activities, negotiations, and tenant relationships is required.
