Technologist Responsibilities:

Assess the referral physicians orders and assures the correct test is performed.

Fills out the tech worksheets completely.

Performs all required exams under services provided by Innovative Women’s Healthcare Solutions (IWHCS )

Submits all images to the radiologists for interpretation. Scan in all paperwork for said studies and notates any issues regarding the exam.

Turns the study for review. If STAT studies, follows up on the results for report completeness and to ensure that the referring physician has received the report. Call all pertinent finding to the referring physician and logs the call.

On Breast Ultrasounds, generates the patient letter with correct Bi-Rads category and notifies the patient at time.

Responsible for keeping Mammo/Ultrasound suite stocked and clean.

Attend and Coordinate meeting as necessary for the Mammo Facility at IWHS.

Maintain compliance with the state and Federal standards for their particular entity.

Assist in correct CPT codes being charged.

Burns CD’s and mails them with reports to appropriate places.

Obtain Ce credits to maintain licensing.

Ensure patients are referred to appropriate place/doctor for any follow up imaging.

Inform patients of the results of their exam when appropriate.

Ensure patient comfort and address any questions or concerns.

Making sure the patient is properly prepped for the ordered exam.

Obtain reports of prior imaging and attach the reports to the study.

Must be familiar with the weekly QC requirements.

Manage mammogram letters to patients as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• ARRT (M) Certification (Required)
