Mammography Technologist (Contract)

Location: California 95422
Pay: $2,424 – $2,716/week
Shift: Day Shift, 10-hour shifts (Mon–Thurs, 0700–1730)

Position Summary

• Perform specialized breast imaging procedures to support diagnosis and treatment of breast disease

• Operate mammography equipment and assist with advanced procedures

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using strong clinical and technical judgment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms

• Assist with breast biopsies and related procedures

• Ensure patient safety, education, and comfort

• Produce quality images and maintain accurate documentation

• Follow safety, infection control, and compliance standards

Requirements

• Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology – Required

• Certifications/Licensure:

  • California Radiologic Technologist License (RT) – Required

  • Mammography Technologist License (MRT) – Required

  • ARRT-R (Radiography) – Required

  • BLS Certification – Required

• Preferred:

  • ARRT-M (Mammography)

  • Fluoroscopy License

  • Venipuncture Certification

  • Prior Mammography experience

Equipment/Systems

• Volpara MRS System

• Hologic Mammography Machine

• GE Dexa Machine

Additional Details

• No call, weekends, or holidays required

• Must meet all vaccination requirements per organizational policy
