Position Overview: This is a full-time remote role for a Managed Care Contract Manager at Apex Infusion. The Managed Care Contract Manager will be responsible for managing contracts with payers, negotiating reimbursement rates, analyzing contract performance, and ensuring compliance with payer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead negotiations with commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts to ensure terms align with organizational goals.
• Ensure timely execution and renewal of payer agreements.
• Develop and implement contracting strategies to optimize reimbursement and expand payer networks.
• Monitor and evaluate financial performance of payer contracts; recommend improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with Finance and Business Development to model contract terms and assess impact.
• Ensure contracts comply with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
• Work closely with the billing, revenue cycle, and clinical teams to resolve payer-related issues.
• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, market expansion, and payer outreach.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payer contract inquiries and escalations.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with payer representatives.

Qualifications:

• Contract Management and Negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and payer requirements.
• Data Analysis and Reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and Decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and contract management software.
• Experience in healthcare or insurance industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
• Master's degree in Business, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field is a plus.
• Must have experience in Managed Care and Contracting in the state of California.
