Salary Range: Up to $59,000 annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.

    Job Summary

    The Management Analyst formulates, implements, and manages initiatives, processes, and reporting activities across the Alvarez College of Business and the broader University. The role supports and oversees faculty lifecycle initiatives and associated recruiting, reviews, data, and operational functions.

    Core Responsibilities
    • Administers process across the faculty lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, promotion and tenure, and performance evaluations.
    • Maintains and analyzes confidential faculty data and reporting systems supporting recruiting, accreditation, promotion and tenure, and other important reviews such as CPE.
    • Develops and manages operational documents such as offer letters, funding models, and analytical reports in compliance with university guidelines.
    • Serves as a liaison across the college and university, coordinating with units such as VPAA to gather data, provide reporting, and support decision-making.
    • Provides support to faculty committees and governance processes by advising on timelines, policies, and procedures related to faculty matters.
    • Oversees the implementation and administration of new and ongoing projects related to faculty success, research, and administrative operations.
    • Coordinates administrative operations within the Office of the Dean and identifies opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
    • Manages sensitive and confidential information and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
    • One (1) year of related work experience.
    • This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.

    Working Conditions
    • Office Environment. Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions, or other business-related events. Workdays, areas, and work hours may vary based on departmental needs.

    Physical Demands
    • Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary; if walking and standing are required, only occasionally. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.

    This position will work primarily on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.

    This position is contingent upon a successful background check. Verification of a valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) may be completed as applicable. Applicants selected must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States by time of hire.
