Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), an integrated energy conglomerate, is a Joint Venture between Pakistan and Emirate of Abu Dhabi. PARCO owns and operates Pakistan’s most modern refinery, over 2,000 kms of pipeline network, strategic storage facilities and marketing operations. The Company has Joint Ventures with renowned international companies and is continually following an aggressive growth strategy with planned expansions, acquisitions and penetration into new markets.


PARCO is seeking applications for the following position at its Corporate Headquarters, Karachi:


Qualification & Competencies:

  • CA/ACCA/ICMA/CIMA/CFA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • Sound understanding of ERP software, preferably SAP.
  • Excellent analytical, report writing and presentation skills.


Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of Post-qualification experience (preferably Risk/Compliance/Finance related experience).
  • Oil and Gas industry/experience with big local company would be an added advantage.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist R&C leadership in implementation of ERM framework & related guidelines including providing all necessary support to Risk owners in their Risk management process.
  • Identify & monitor strategic, business, financial & project related risks of the company and quantify impact of risks on company’s business objectives.
  • Ensure mechanism in place to for timely updates of risk registers by the risk owners including development and monitoring of appropriate risk mitigation plans.
  • Key team player in the ESG reporting of PARCO group under GRI/ISSB/S1, S2 Reporting standards;
  • Monitor and support ESG governance across PARCO group, including ESG/SDG information compilation and supporting relevant business functions in setting up their ESG goals/KPIs.
  • Assist in development of a reliable and robust Compliance Monitoring System to implement best governance practices across the group.
  • Support effective implementation of compliance mechanisms across PARCO group.
  • Coordinate with inter divisional/departmental teams on value added assignments (including system improvements, investigations, optimization studies etc.)


Other:

  • A postgraduate degree or additional certifications in Finance, Business Management, Risk, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Candidates must be willing to travel to stations/terminals and Refining facility at MCR.
