JOB SUMMARY:
An emerging property development group, seeks a dynamic and accomplished Group Finance Manager to oversee the entire financial and accounting functions for thier businesses involved in signage, outdoor advertising, and real estate development ventures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving financial governance, strategic planning, and cross-border compliance to ensure the group’s financial sustainability and growth. This role requires hands-on expertise in real estate finance, construction accounting, project-based financial management, and international financial coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic & Financial Leadership

  • Lead the full spectrum of financial operations of multiple entities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS/IAS and regional regulations.
  • Develop and implement group-level financial strategies to optimize investment returns, cash flow, and capital efficiency across multi-phase development projects.
  • Provide actionable insights to the CEO and Group Directors for long-term financial planning and expansion initiatives.

Financial Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (SECP, FBR, SRB, SBCA) and financial regulations related to real estate, commercial entities, and VAT.
  • Manage statutory, tax, and external audits while ensuring robust internal controls and transparency across all group entities.
  • Establish and monitor financial policies, internal audit mechanisms, and risk management frameworks aligned with global best practices.

Project & Investment Management

  • Conduct financial feasibility studies, ROI analyses, and investment appraisals for upcoming developments.
  • Oversee project-based accounting, cost tracking, and financial performance across property and construction portfolios.
  • Structure and evaluate joint ventures, partnerships, and financing arrangements for land acquisition and development projects.

Treasury & Capital Management

  • Manage group-level cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and inter-company fund transfers.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions to secure financing for ongoing and future developments.
  • Optimize capital structure and manage debt obligations in alignment with business growth plans.

Team Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Supervise a multi-functional finance team ensuring timely financial closing, reconciliations, and performance reporting.
  • Build financial discipline and accountability across all business units through training, process improvements, and digital tools.
  • Drive ERP implementation and reporting automation for real-time financial visibility across all entities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification: CA, ACCA, qualified (Required); MBA in Finance will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, and governance.
  • At least 5 years in a senior finance role within the real estate, property development, or construction sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in group financial consolidation, JV structuring, project-based accounting and complex cash cycles.
  • Exposure to cross-border operations will be a strong asset.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong command of financial modeling, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and investment appraisal.
  • Proficiency in ERP and accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of SECP, FBR, SBCA, and provincial taxation laws, along with financial and VAT framework.
  • Expertise in IFRS, audit compliance, and project-based financial controls.

  • Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and analytical capability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage deadlines, and handle high-value, multi-project portfolios.
