Position Title: Management Information System (MIS) Officer

2. General Position Summary
The Management Information System (MIS) Officer at Secours Islamique France (SIF) will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's data management and analysis needs. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the MIS infrastructure to ensure efficient data collection, storage, analysis, and reporting. The MIS Officer will work closely with project teams and MEAL to provide accurate and timely information that supports decision-making, project monitoring, and evaluation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in database management and data analysis, coupled with excellent communication and training skills. The MIS Officer will ensure the integrity and security of data, facilitate capacity building within the team, and contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of SIF's projects.
Key responsibilities include managing databases, generating reports, providing technical support, ensuring data quality, and training staff on MIS-related tools and processes. The MIS Officer will also play a key role in coordinating with various stakeholders to meet project data needs and ensure compliance with data protection policies and regulations.
As part of SIF's commitment to humanitarian and development work, the MIS Officer will contribute to the organization's mission by leveraging technology and data to enhance the impact of its projects. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a collaborative environment.

4. REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MIS, data management, or a related role, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector.
Languages:
Knowledge:
Fluency in Urdu and English is required. Knowledge of the Balochi language will be an advantage.
Proficient computer skills, including SPSS, STATA, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and PowerPoint.
Strong understanding of identifying data errors, cleaning, coding, and data analysis using MS Access.
