Management Trainee – Accounts & Finance

Job Location – Thane

Salary – INR 4L – 8L PA

Job Summary

Will support the finance and accounts function within the shipping and marine operations in day-to-day accounting operations while gaining hands-on exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance. The role is designed to develop strong accounting and financial management skills through structured training and on-the-job learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining books of accounts, ledgers, and journals
• Support preparation of financial statements, reports, and MIS
• Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Assist in bank reconciliations and expense tracking
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist with statutory compliances, audits, and tax-related documentation
• Maintain proper financial records and documentation
• Coordinate with internal departments for financial data
• Learn and adhere to company accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• MBA in Accounting and Finance from Tier 1 or Tier 2 college.
• Fresh Post -Graduates or candidates with up to 1–2 years of experience
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts
• Familiarity with MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
