We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and responsible Management Trainee Officer (Accounts) to join our finance team. This role is designed for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to build a strong foundation in accounting and financial operations. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of senior finance staff and gain hands-on experience in an ERP-driven accounting setup.
Qualification:
- BBA / MBA / M.Com / B.Com
- ACCA (Part-Qualified) or CA (Continued) will be an added advantage
Experience:
- Fresh to 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
- Internship or exposure to the textile or spinning industry will be preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and posting daily accounting vouchers (Cash, Bank, and Journal Vouchers) in ERP/accounting software.
- Support payroll processing, attendance records, overtime calculations, and salary reconciliations.
- Assist in maintaining unit-wise production, wastage, and cost-related records.
- Help verify vendor invoices, assist in payment processing, and support vendor and ledger reconciliations.
- Support monthly closing activities, preparation of trial balance, and basic management reports.
- Assist in preparing Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) on a periodic basis.
- Maintain and update sales tax, withholding tax, and other statutory records under supervision.
- Provide support in budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures while learning applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to queries as directed.
- Participate in ERP and accounting system implementation, learning system processes and controls.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving internal controls and financial procedures.
- Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or senior team members.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop practical accounting skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under supervision and meet assigned deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic financial reporting tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred; knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
- Good communication skills and a professional work attitude.
