The Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Strategy & Operations will support the Strategy & Operations department in enhancing organizational efficiency, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple workstreams. This role is designed for fresh graduates who are eager to learn, think analytically, and develop strong strategic and operational capabilities.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage assigned tasks in a fast-paced environment. Throughout the program, the MTO will gain hands-on exposure to strategic planning, project management, data analysis, and cross-departmental coordination.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Execution


  • Assist in formulating and executing departmental and organizational strategies.

  • Support monitoring of strategic goals, identifying performance gaps, and suggesting corrective actions.

  • Help prepare strategic presentations, reports, meeting notes, and business review documents.


2. Operational Efficiency Support


  • Learn to evaluate current workflows and identify opportunities for process optimization.

  • Participate in implementing improved operational practices to enhance productivity and resource utilization.

  • Support alignment of internal processes with business goals and compliance standards.


3. Project Management Assistance


  • Support planning and execution of strategic and cross-functional projects.

  • Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables under supervision.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for project updates and reporting.



4. Data Analysis & Reporting


  • Collect and analyze operational and performance data.

  • Assist in developing dashboards, KPIs, and reports to aid strategic decision-making.

  • Identify insights that support continuous improvement initiatives.


5. Governance, Quality & Compliance


  • Support implementation of governance frameworks and compliance procedures.

  • Assist in internal audits, documentation upkeep, and risk assessments.
    Ensure consistency and accuracy across operational documents.


6. Team Coordination & Development


  • Support team communications, onboarding tasks, and process documentation.

  • Contribute to maintaining a collaborative and accountable work environment.

  • Participate in brainstorming, planning sessions, and continuous improvement discussions.



Requirements

  • Fresh graduate (Business, Management, Marketing, Social Sciences, Economics, or related fields).
  • If currently studying, classes should be on weekends only — weekday availability is required.
  • Strong communication skills, especially proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Based in Islamabad.
