Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations across our retail or service environment. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for retail management, and the ability to motivate and develop team members. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee employee orientation, training, and development to ensure staff are knowledgeable about products, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates, conducting onboarding processes, and selecting qualified personnel.
  • Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and inventory control to maintain accurate records and financial integrity.
  • Coordinate purchasing, pricing strategies, merchandising, and stock management to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Supervise shift management activities including cash handling, cashiering, POS operations, and customer interactions.
  • Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Maintain organizational standards for store cleanliness, safety protocols, and compliance with company policies.
  • Utilize management skills to oversee budgeting efforts, monitor retail math metrics, and optimize store performance.

Skills

  • Proven management experience with a focus on retail sales or store operations.
  • Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience with recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, and training & development programs.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems, POS technology, cash handling procedures, and retail math principles.
  • Ability to perform administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and stock control efficiently.
  • Skilled in merchandising strategies including pricing adjustments and promotional displays.
  • Competence in supervising daily store activities like stocking, marketing initiatives, wireless sales (if applicable), and shift management.
