What is your role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced candidate to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations for transport company. The ideal candidate will manage the complete accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, GST, TDS, financial reporting, and tax compliance. This role requires a detail-oriented and strategic thinker to ensure smooth financial processes and compliance with relevant regulations.

Job responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all vendor invoices and payments.
• Ensure all client invoices are generated and sent in a timely manner.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely collections.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger and ensure all payments are accurately recorded.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
• Calculate and deduct TDS on applicable payments as per the Income Tax Act.
• Reconcile TDS accounts and issue TDS certificates to vendors and employees.
• Handle TDS notices and assist in resolving any related tax issues.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and trial balances.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations including corporate tax, GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes.

• Should be multilingual.
• A smiling face, a healthy mind and body, and a positive attitude are a must.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Knowledge for outlook, word and excel sheet.

Education Qualification - Graduate preferable

Experience – Minimum 7 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
