As the Manager of Advocacy and Influencer for CeraVe, you will be at the heart of one of the world’s fastest-growing skincare brands. You will be responsible for developing creative, business-driving influencer marketing strategies that foster deep relationships with creators and agencies. As an expert in the Advocacy & Influence (A&I) space, you will drive "share of influence" across the total skincare landscape and the specialized "medfluencer" category through high-impact engagements, mentions, and views.
You will partner closely with Marketing, Media, and the CDMO to ensure CeraVe remains a leader in earned conversations and brand love while driving conversion across all retailer touchpoints.
Influencer Marketing Management:- Support the execution of Advocacy & Influencer strategy to drive awareness and conversion to support key business priorities
- Brief influencer agency, with go-to-market strategy for national, retailer and trend campaigns. Follow through campaign execution with creator casting, negotiation, briefing, Values Matching and content quality review for approximately 40 influencers a month.
- Identify new and emerging influencers while simultaneously maintaining and growing relationships with key influencers and influencer management companies
- Collaborate with Marketing and Media departments on all paid influencer campaigns and activations to ensure alignment for maximum reach and results across organic, paid and earned (when boosting found UGC)
- Partner with CDMO to identify trending creators and content pillars for both trend and anchor briefs
PR/Social:- Work closely with Brand Engagement team to ensure influencer activation and brand messaging is aligned across earned/owned/influencer touchpoints
Reporting & Presentations:- Responsible for content boosting codes and tracking
- Assist Director and AVP with development of reports and presentations for company & divisional leaders
- Co-Develop and deliver Marketing Plans & Brand Engagement recaps
- Analyze and share insights from the L’Oreal USA CDMO reports that highlight influencer activity internally and externally
- Oversee competitive analysis reporting to ensure CeraVe is positioned as a leader in the space
Job Requirements:- 3+ years of experience in Marketing, Social Media, Influencer and/or PR/communications in agency or in-house, excluding internships. Experience in skin a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Well-versed in the influencer space, including familiar with key talent and content trends
- In-depth knowledge and experience with all major social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram/Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, SnapChat and emerging platforms
- Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Strong understanding and passion for the beauty and cosmetic industry
- Strong relationship with creators and management teams
- Strong understanding in budget management
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to analyze data in terms of conversion and content performance
- Experience managing agency and vendors
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel + data analysis platforms like Google Analytics.
- Ability to travel when needed
