About the Role

Edge is hiring a Manager, AI Sales Operations to architect and operate our AI-powered SMB sales engine. This role blends strategy and hands-on execution, focused on building scalable outbound systems powered by AI agents rather than managing a traditional SDR team.

You will design and orchestrate automated outreach workflows that generate high-velocity pipeline for our SMB segment. Your mandate is to reduce customer acquisition cost while increasing qualified deal volume through hyper-personalized, data-driven outreach. As the human-in-the-loop owner of our AI sales infrastructure, you will ensure performance, quality, and brand integrity at scale.


What you’ll do

  • Design, build, and manage end-to-end workflows for AI SDR agents, including prompting strategy, messaging frameworks, and CRM execution
  • Own data architecture and hygiene by ensuring clean data flow between lead sources, enrichment tools, and CRM systems
  • Continuously A/B test and optimize outreach messaging to improve reply rates and pipeline conversion
  • Audit AI interactions and step in on complex prospect conversations to maintain brand quality
  • Define and execute SMB targeting strategies, including segmentation and trigger-based outreach campaigns
  • Track and optimize key performance metrics such as positive reply rate and meeting hold rate
  • Partner with sales leadership to align outbound systems with overall revenue goals
  • Evaluate and implement tools that enhance automation, personalization, and efficiency


What you’ll need

  • Experience building workflows in modern sales or automation tools (e.g., Clay, Zapier, HubSpot, Outreach, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of outbound sales fundamentals and prospect engagement
  • Proven ability to write and optimize high-performing sales messaging
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort analyzing pipeline and performance metrics
  • Hands-on experience with modern sales tech stacks (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce, Clay, Instantly, Smartlead)
  • Systems-thinking approach and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, experimental environment
  • Clear communication skills and strong attention to detail
