MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To oversee and lead the production side of Interiors Furnishing and Equipment team to ensure the reliability and safety of the fleet while fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement across both ramp and hangar operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Leads and coordinates with Safety Department, acting as a focal point for any safety investigations and audits relevant to Workshop Interiors, Furnishing and Equipment Department.
  • Oversees the implementation and effectiveness of risk assessment processes across all workshop areas, ensuring identification, evaluation, and mitigation of operational risks in compliance with safety standards.
  • Verifies and reviews the accuracy of all maintenance documentation and records within the Workshop Interiors, Furnishing and Equipment Department to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Reviews and approves relevant company procedures within the workshop scope, ensuring alignment with maintenance requirements and quality standards.
  • Plans, coordinates, and monitors the execution of daily workshop activities to ensure scheduled tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the required quality.
  • Reviews Quality Control (QC) findings and ensures timely closure of reports by coordinating corrective and preventive actions with the respective teams.
  • Acts as the primary focal point for promptly responding to all non-conformances raised, ensuring appropriate investigation, documentation, and resolution within required timelines.
  • Manages the budget and all resources to ensure optimum utlisation and control of item expenditure, by maintaining a cost control policy.
  • Drives towards continual improvement of Workshop Interiors Furnishing and Equipment Department maintenance program and relevant process involved.
  • Oversees the training requirement compliance of all Workshop Interiors, Furnishing and Equipment Department Personnel, ensuring staff meet competency requirements and maintain valid certifications.
  • Monitors the availability and serviceability of workshop tools, equipment, and facilities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and readiness for planned maintenance tasks.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact between the GCAA and the Production/Workshop teams during audits, coordinating communications and ensuring timely responses to all audit requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
  • Degree in relevant technical field i.e. in the stream of Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, etc.
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum of 7 years Managerial experience related to Equipment and Furnishing maintenance
  • Years with qualifications: 7 - 9 years

ISR Requirements: Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
