Manager, Analytics - Home Services

Position Purpose:

As Manager of Analytics for Home Services Operations, you will serve as a strategic thought leader responsible for architecting the analytical frameworks and data strategies that power Home Depot’s installation business. Reporting directly to the Operations organization, you will bridge the gap between complex data infrastructure and real-world execution, driving performance across the entire installation lifecycle—from cycle times to labor capacity to final project completion.

This role requires the technical proficiency to develop actionable insights and predictive tools (utilizing SQL and BigQuery) alongside the communication skills to translate complex data into "field-ready" strategic actions for executive and field leadership. By partnering cross-functionally, you will pinpoint operational friction, optimize process flows, and deliver the tangible results necessary to scale our service business and improve the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

10% - Planning and Implementation - Plans and implements department's goals and objectives.
40% - Problem Solving - Provides sophisticated and scalable solutions when confronting challenging analytical and technical challenges.
10% - Project Management - Executes projects in a timely and fiscally responsible manner with utmost customer satisfaction.
40% - Team Leadership - Manages, develops, and maintains a team dedicated to analytics projects throughout numerous elements of Home Services.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

This Position typically reports to Senior Manager
This role has 1 direct report.

Travel Requirements:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working experience with Google Big Query, SQL and/or Python
Working knowledge of Salesforce
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of Tableau
Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of analytical/statistics functions & procedures
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to develop and apply advanced mathematical/statistical techniques
Ability to draw accurate conclusions from financial documentation

Minimum Education:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
