Job Title: Manager, Applications Integration

Reports to: Executive Manager, Applications integration

Location: Head-Office


Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate stakeholder needs and architect comprehensive Functional Specification Documents (FSD) with internal and external partners for Alternate Delivery Channels (ADC).
  • Lead the end-to-end middleware and digital banking applications upgradation life cycle overseeing everything from initial feasibility and effort estimation to complex migrations and long-term application maintenance.
  • Translate middleware architecture and existing functionality into system flows, flowcharts, and database designs to guide the internal and external teams.
  • Supervise all patch deployments, system upgrades, and version releases within the defined middleware project scope and timelines.
  • Enforce industry-standard implementation practices and architectural design patterns across all banking applications.
  • Facilitate peer reviews and user testing phases; provide support for listing detailed middleware use cases with stakeholders and technical support to ensure robust system development.
  • Coordinate the full testing suite, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Follow all organizational and IT security policies to ensure safe and stable operations.
  • Conduct thorough impact analysis to identify potential breaking changes in APIs, messaging protocols, or data mappings


Job Requirements:

  • Have knowledge/experience of Middleware and ATM switches (IRIS, UBPS).
  • Banking/Fin Tech Experience in application domain.
  • Middleware Application migration/upgradation experience.
  • Knowledge of ISO 8583 and ISO 20022.
  • Have knowledge of core and branchless banking applications.
  • Expert level knowledge of standard development tools (VS, PL/SQL, MSSQL, Oracle, ASP, C# .net).
  • Have knowledge of SDLC and adherence with all phases.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aware of Incident and Change Management best practices.
  • A disciplined approach to documentation and change management.
  • Knowledge of API gateway (Kong).
  • Working experience with Rest and Soap Based Apis.
