Job Title: Asset Management Manager

Role Purpose

The Asset Management Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle management of solar power facilities to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and profitability. This role ensures assets operate in line with technical, environmental, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency and financial returns. The position plays a key strategic role in maximizing long-term asset value and supporting organizational growth within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investment Strategy & Analysis

  • Analyze market trends, financial data, and economic indicators to identify high-potential investment opportunities.
  • Develop and recommend investment strategies aligned with organizational and client objectives.

2. Portfolio Management

  • Build, manage, and optimize diversified investment portfolios, including solar assets and other financial instruments.
  • Balance risk and return to maintain a resilient and profitable asset base.

3. Asset Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor the operational and financial performance of solar assets through regular inspections and data analysis.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate performance reports, financial analyses, and impact assessments for senior management and clients.

4. Client Relations

  • Engage with clients to understand their goals, risk appetite, and investment preferences.
  • Provide expert advisory services, portfolio updates, and strategic recommendations.

5. Risk Management

  • Identify operational, financial, and regulatory risks that may impact asset performance.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to safeguard investments and ensure compliance.

6. Operational Management

  • Oversee operational activities for physical assets, including budgeting, maintenance planning, and performance optimization.
  • Manage contracts and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective services and high operational standards.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in asset management, preferably within the renewable energy sector.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment principles, portfolio management, and asset performance optimization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategies that enhance asset value and financial outcomes.
