The Assistant Operations Manager plays a critical role in the day-to-day,operations of the Factory Distribution Center. Reporting to the FDC Manager, this leader oversees four shift supervisors and ensures seamless execution of inbound and outbound logistics, safety compliance, and operational excellence across multiple shifts.
Duties include but are not limited to:

Coordinates inbound and outbound activities to maintain optimal product actions.

Identifies and implements continuous improvement initiatives to flow and inventory accuracy.

Champions a safety-first culture by enforcing OSHA standards and internal safety policies.

Conducts regular safety audits and collaborates with supervisors to implement corrective enhance operational efficiency.

Standardizes processes across shifts to,ensure consistency and reduce variability.

Monitors inventory levels and collaborates with inventory control teams to resolve discrepancies.

Mentors and develops supervisors to build leadership capabilities and foster a high-performance culture.

Facilitates cross-training and succession planning to ensure operational resilience.

Ensures proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and machinery.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain or related field.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center operations.

Proven ability to lead multi-shift operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Strong understanding of inbound/outbound logistics, safety protocols, and inventory management.

Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies preferred.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); WMS experience a plus.
