"A Day in the Life"

The Manager Branch Operations reports to the Regional Operations Manager and will be taking charge of customer service, administrative and sales support, along with coordinating the delivery, installation, and removal of modular buildings and other rental items. Furthermore, you will oversee operational staff at both the Salt Lake City, UT and Boise, ID branches and play a crucial role in steering the operations team toward success. "What You’ll Do"

  • Deliver hands-on leadership for the administrative and operational functions of Mobile Modular. Key areas include operations, logistics, internal and external customer service, contracts, billing, purchase orders, inventory and project coordination.
  • This role is working manager position with oversight of operational staff who report to the Regional Operations Manager at both the Salt Lake City, UT and Boise, ID branches. The Manager of Branch Operations is responsible for a variety of daily operational tasks, including coordination, negotiation, contract approvals, reporting, inventory management, branch disputes etc.
  • Engage in close collaboration with sales team and management in order to effectively support both our clients, region and organization. Manage equipment purchasing process and assist with sales decisions to optimize rental fleet utilization.
  • Formulate strategies and tactics to identify and implement best practices for the branches. Establish relationships with key customers and vendors. Standardize practices among our vendors and continuously improve our business processes.
  • Oversee the vendor base for on-site operations, negotiate pricing and implement policies and procedures that ensure exceptional service for our customers and strengthen vendor partnerships.
  • Train and mentor operations members to enhance productivity. Develop and implement initiatives to foster both personal and professional growth for the operations team.
  • Ensure compliance and support of our safety policies with all staff members and visitors on site.
  • Assist with equipment purchasing and inventory processes for branches. Cultivate strong relationships with our manufacturers, inventory center, and subcontractors, ensuring accurate inventory, efficient transportation, installation, and service in the marketplace.

"Must Haves"

  • A minimum of 3 years leadership/supervisory experience in operations or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Oracle, Salesforce, Excel, and Word.
  • High energy, adaptable, and capable of performing effectively in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
  • Ability to lead and manage autonomously, as well as collaborate effectively as a team member.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience driving process improvements and delivering measurable results in an operations environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, along with strong negotiation abilities.
  • Effective project and time management skills.
  • Experience in utilizing financial metrics to manage costs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Travel required to Boise, ID at approximately 25%
  • Valid driver’s license

"Nice to Haves"

  • Prior experience in construction or rental industries.
  • Experience using or understanding AI tools to support customer management, reporting, and operational processes is a plus.
  • PowerPoint experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
