Job Summary

Lead analytics, regulatory reporting, and data automation for Wholesale Banking.

Transform manual processes into intelligent, automated insights using advanced analytics tools and AI.

Bridge business needs with technical capabilities to drive performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and unlock revenue opportunities through data-driven decision making.

Key Accountabilities

• Regulatory Reporting & Data Governance
• Serve as Business Data Steward for all regulatory submissions (QCB, internal/external audits)
• Develop and maintain data domain structures with Data Excellence Centre
• Ensure timely, accurate regulatory report submissions
• Resolve audit findings and implement process improvements
• Coordinate maker-checker activities across business units
• Business Performance & Analytics
• Design executive-quality dashboards and reports for internal/external stakeholders
• Track and institutionalize all revenue streams; identify leakage areas
• Establish and monitor KPIs at portfolio and individual levels
• Deliver variance analysis and mitigation tracking
• Lead margin management analytics using FTP and RAROC principles
• Support profit improvement initiatives
• Budget & Forecasting Management
• Drive annual budget preparation (Balance Sheet & P&L) for Wholesale Banking
• Develop dynamic forecasting models to predict financial outcomes
• Monitor performance vs. budget; communicate deviations and drivers
• Provide actionable insights on financial trends
• Automation & AI-Driven Innovation
• Automate manual data processes using AI/ML, Python, SQL, and RPA
• Leverage Power BI, Tableau, and other analytics platforms for self-service reporting
• Explore generative AI and cloud technologies for enhanced business intelligence
• Partner with IT and central AI teams to implement cutting-edge solutions
• Generate actionable insights from existing data repositories
• Stakeholder Management & MI Enhancement
• Partner with business heads and relationship managers to understand requirements
• Centralize and standardize management information production
• Improve data accessibility and self-help reporting capabilities
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting efficiency and quality

Required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or Business Analytics
• Minimum 3-5 years in banking analytics, regulatory reporting, or business intelligence
• Deep understanding of corporate/wholesale banking products and services
• Proven experience with multiple analytics tools: Excel (advanced), SQL, Power BI/Tableau
• Knowledge of AI/ML applications, automation tools
  
  

Preferred

• Familiarity with generative AI applications in business analytics
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory reporting standards
• Professional certifications (CFA, FRM, data science, or analytics certifications)

• Fluent in English (required)
