Manager Business Development

Position Title: Manager Business Development – Financial Sector

Location: Islamabad

Department: Business Development

Reports to: Regional Director Telecom and Financial Services

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager of Business Development to join our team in the financial sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving growth within the financial services industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and trends in the financial sector. Analyze competitive landscape and market conditions to inform strategic planning and decision-making.

2. Business Strategy Development: Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and expand market presence. Identify target markets and customer segments, and tailor strategies to meet their needs.

3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

4. Sales and Revenue Generation: Develop and manage sales pipelines, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Achieve revenue targets by converting prospects into clients and expanding business with existing clients.

5. Collaboration and Team Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives. Lead and mentor junior business development staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

6. Proposal and Presentation Development: Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet client needs and align with company capabilities.

7. Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on business development activities, performance metrics, and outcomes. Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MA

or relevant advanced degree preferred.

· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development or sales within the

financial sector.

· Proven track record of achieving business development and sales targets.

· Strong knowledge of financial products, services, and market dynamics.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Willingness to travel as required.
