We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Manager - Business Operations to oversee and optimize our daily operational activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end operational flow, ensuring exceptional customer experience, and maintaining seamless coordination with our 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) partners. This role requires a minimum of 7-8 years of experience, strong leadership skills, and an in-depth understanding of the FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Supervise and manage all day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as a key point of contact for external customers, handling inquiries, resolving complex issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • 3PL & Warehouse Coordination: Manage the relationship and coordinate activities with our 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partners for all warehouse, inventory management, and distribution operations. Ensure timely order fulfilment and accurate stock reconciliation.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed, periodic operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly) covering key performance indicators (KPIs) such as service levels, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and operational costs.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present reports, insights, and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Finance, Leadership) to support strategic decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in operational processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and reduce costs.
  • Business Operations Expertise: Utilize deep knowledge of both Retail and Wholesale business operations to manage diverse sales channels and fulfilment models effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 7-8 years of progressive experience in business operations, supply chain, or a related management function.
  • Education (Mandatory): A Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is required.
  • Industry Expertise (Mandatory): At least 3 years of hands-on experience specifically within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is essential.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated knowledge and experience managing operations across both Retail (e.g., modern trade, key accounts) and Wholesale (e.g., distributors, traditional trade) channels.
  • Logistics Management: Proven experience in managing and coordinating with 3PL providers for warehousing and distribution services.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory (Advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data modelling for reporting).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
