What’s Under the Hood

That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

In short, as an Auto Claims Manager you will be responsible for leading your team in adjudicating claims in a timely manner. Supporting your team to achieve performance goals and improve their skill set through ongoing development.

In long, our Auto Claims Managers are responsible for:

• Monitor team performance and trends to identify opportunities for improvement at a contributor level.

• Provide coaching, training, and development to team members to meet or exceed performance goals.

• Drive department-wide initiatives, gaining buy-in from direct and indirect reports to maximize impact, and contribute to meeting or exceeding department goals.

• Responsible for managing their direct report’s timecards, PTO requests, schedule adherence, and performance and development plans.

• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (The Good Stuff)

Must have a strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures, parts pricing, labor guides, and repair shop procedures/practices.

• Ability to connect with and lead team members remotely to achieve performance results.

• Knowledge of call center operations and reporting.

• Skilled in written and verbal communications, time management and meeting deadlines.

• Is proficient in typing and general computer skills.

• Must be solution oriented.

Requirements (a.k.a. What You Need to Get the Job Done)

• High-school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

• 3+ years of experience with current automotive mechanical and diagnostics.

• 3+ years of leadership experience
