- Minimum of five (5) years progressive medical and/or disability management experience is required. Five (5) years cumulative experience in a supervisory, management or related role of a medium to large sized group of team members is preferred.

Effective interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to handle multiple tasks, exhibit flexibility, meet deadlines through appropriate prioritization & decision-making skills is essential.
- Selects, trains, develops and motivates qualified individuals for supervisory positions. Through this direct staff, ensures the productivity and motivation of all other support staff in the unit.
- Sets, implements and communicates performance standards and objectives to ensure all team members have a clear understanding of unit goals, objectives, expectations and service standards of respective business unit.
- Conducts performance appraisals for direct staff and oversees the appraisal process for the unit. Approves salary adjustments, promotions, transfers and dismissals to ensure the highest levels of productivity and quality.
- Interprets, implements and administers corporate policies and procedures for the unit to ensure compliance.
- Oversees unit operations and staff and when necessary, makes recommendations or changes in methods, procedures, structure, or personnel to ensure optimum utilization of resources.
- Directs the identification and evaluation of system enhancements and new technology to increase the efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness of the unit. Directs unit supervisors in system and procedure changes to accommodate new client or Branch Claims Office needs.
- Acts as a liaison between client, Branch Claims Office and/or vendor and business unit by assisting with difficult or complex issues.
- Keeps Department Director informed of activities and problems within unit by written and verbal communication; refers items beyond authority level for direction.
- Evaluates and interprets relevant industry information, regulations and practices to ensure unit is operating at a competitive level.
- Provides assistance by answering Request for Proposal questions.
- Meets with new clients to obtain requirements and develop conversion/implementation plans to ensure a smooth transition.
- Maintains regular contact with clients to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
- Facilitates coordination between appropriate internal business units to promote Broadspire Integrated products.
- Assists in the development of short and long term strategic plans that will improve delivery of services.
- Manages the implementation of new accounts and product lines, which include interdepartmental integration and support to meet account goals. Implementation process also includes appropriate supervisory assignment taking into consideration specific account criteria and overall department impact.
- Maintains departmental communications by holding supervisory meetings to disseminate updated departmental information and problem solving and address all departmental and interdepartmental issues as they arise.
- Assist with budget development and ensure budgetary goals are achieved.
- Performs other related duties as required.
