Manager - Compliance and Documentation

Role Overview: The Manager of Compliance and Documentation will ensure that Alpha Palliative Care adheres to all legal, ethical, and clinical standards. This role is critical for maintaining the organization’s integrity and ensuring that all patient records and institutional policies meet statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Compliance: Ensure all organizational activities comply with local and national healthcare laws, including those related to palliative care and narcotics/pain management regulations.
  • Document Control: Oversee the systematic filing and maintenance of patient records, medical logs, and administrative documentation.
  • Policy Development: Draft and update internal SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to align with current legislation and best practices.
  • Audit Management: Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure transparent reporting and operational excellence.
  • Reporting: Prepare periodic compliance reports for the board and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: MSW (Master of Social Work), LLB (Law), or ICWA (Cost Accountancy).
  • Experience: Proven experience in legal compliance, clinical documentation, or corporate governance.
  • Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in legal/technical writing.
