Manager – Control & Automation

Job Title: Manager – Control & Automation (Industrial Engineering)
Location: FB Industrial Area, Karachi, Pakistan

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Control & Automation, Maintenance, and Utilities functions across multiple production units
• Supervise and mentor a team of 40+ engineers and technicians
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and scheduled maintenance programs
• Oversee textile, plastic processing, foundry, and utility systems maintenance
• Conduct root cause analysis and ensure rapid breakdown recovery
• Design, implement, and manage SCADA systems and energy dashboards
• Lead PLC programming (Siemens, Schneider, Delta) and HMI development
• Manage automation project lifecycle: design, commissioning, and documentation
• Develop and integrate custom in-house industrial machines
• Monitor utilities including boilers, air compressors, and ETP systems
• Integrate SQL databases for real-time production and energy monitoring
• Oversee renewable energy integration including Solar PV systems (MW-scale)
• Coordinate cross-departmentally to ensure KPI alignment and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics Engineering)
• 9+ years of experience in Industrial Automation & Maintenance
• Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Strong expertise in SCADA, PLC Programming, HMI, VFDs, and Industrial Networks
• Experience in textile machinery, plastic injection molding, foundry systems, and utilities
• Hands-on experience in solar PV integration and energy optimization
• Strong leadership, project management, and vendor coordination skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs300,000.00 per month
