To support in DPW World’s Business development, M&A and investment activities in Ports, Free Zones and Logistics in the GCC, Levant and Iraq through preparation of detailed financial models, internal & external presentations and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on different projects.

Support in evaluating new investment opportunities based on market research, due diligence, commercial and financial feasibility studies and provide analytical feedback for effective decision making.

Support and manage the process of working and liaising with the Corporate CF&BD team, advisors, bankers, lawyers on negotiations regarding potential partnerships/ JVs, M&A transactions and Business Development within sectors like logistics, dry ports, transportation companies, assembly packaging facilities, IT platforms, marketplaces, economic zones etc. as may fit the strategy of DPW UAER.

Assist in all aspects of the transaction process from initiation, due diligence, financial valuation, commercial terms in SPA/SHA and other legal documents, completion accounts, etc until integration of the entity into the organization.

Initiate, review and manage financial models based on different investment proposals, joint venture opportunities, greenfield projects, real estate and build-to-suit proposals, repossessed assets, etc. and provide appropriate recommendations to the management based on the risk and return parameters of the project and Group CFBD policy.

Use of quantitative and qualitative analysis for evaluating investment/divestment opportunities.

Initiate pre and post investment review with the concerned departments of key capital expenditure proposals (P&T expansion/IT digitization projects, asset regeneration projects, etc) using KPIs like ROI, NPV, IRR, Payback period, etc as may be deemed suitable.
Work Experience & Skills:

5+ years' experience in either/combination of a leading investment bank, Big 4 Transactions Team, Corporate finance advisory, consulting or corporate development function.

Strong financial modeling skills, valuation using DCF, Market multiples and other metrics

Ability to perform financial due diligence on acquisition targets

Strong Project management capability and working under tight deadlines

Ability to conceptualise ideas into presentations and articulate concise written communication.

Critical analytical skills
Desirable:

Spoken and written Arabic is a desired plus.

Previous experience in Logistics M&A/Corporate Development is as an added advantage.

Professional Qualification such as CFA, CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA with MBA.
