Role & responsibilities

Cost Estimation & Budgeting
• Prepare detailed MEP cost estimates across preliminary, pre-contract, and tender stages. • Develop and validate BOQs with rate analysis aligned to market rates. • Support value engineering to optimize cost without compromising quality/compliance. • Coordinate with design, procurement, site, and finance teams for budget alignment.

Cost Control & Monitoring
• Monitor project costs, variations, design changes, and NT items against approved budgets. • Prepare cost-to-complete and variance reports; recommend corrective actions. • Ensure compliance with contracts, specifications, IS codes, and company policies.

BOQ & Billing
• Prepare/review pre-tender estimates and verify BOQs as per GFC drawings. • Support site teams in bill verification, amendments, and final bill audits.
Preferred candidate profile
Qualifications

Bachelors Degree Graduation in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.

Additional certification in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management is an advantage.
Experience
-
10to 15 years of experience in MEP costing, budgeting, billing and must have 5 to 7 years experience exclusively in cost estimation & budgeting.
Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of MEP systems, BOQs, specifications, and drawings

Proficiency in MS Excel, cost estimation tools, and ERP systems

Understanding of contracts, tendering, and billing procedures
