Manager, Data Analytics:
Position Summary:

A Data Analytics leader supports the AMI Finance team in developing and implementing data strategies, analyzing large datasets, and creating reports and dashboards for senior leadership. This is an independent contributor role and the key responsibilities involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring data quality, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. This position will support the Commercial and Operations Finance leaders as well as the operational leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Learn and possess a deep understanding of the company's business models and data sources to design and implement the roadmap and guiding principles for robust, scalable reporting.
    • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders in a regular monthly and weekly cadence.
    • Extract data with Palantir/Foundry and EPM systems to establish a consistent source of data for all business partners and Finance.
    • Ad-hoc report generation supporting finance and operations
  • Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement data analytics strategies aligned with business objectives. Define long-term data strategies to enable strategic decision-making across the company.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, finance) to identify data needs, ensure alignment of technical capabilities, and support business initiatives.
  • Data Governance: Oversee data quality, integrity, and compliance. Implement and manage processes for data cleaning, preparation, and storage.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality within the analytics function.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in ERP systems, financial reporting systems, and managing data
    • Experience with cost management tools and ERP systems
    • Experience visualizing data in Power BI.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, cost management software, and data visualization tools (e.g., Foundry, Power BI).
