Manager - Demand Planning Systems & Process Solutions

As the Manager - Demand Planning Systems & Process Solutions, you will lead a team focused on driving innovation, process development, and continuous improvement across Demand and Supply Planning processes. You will oversee the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of the Blue Yonder system within Inventory Management, partnering with subject matter experts (SMEs) to define business needs and deliver solutions aligned with operational requirements. You will ensure strong system and process governance, including demand and supply planning data stewardship. You will collaborate with senior leadership to maximize system capabilities, support user adoption through transformational initiatives, and deliver enhancements and strategic recommendations that drive ROI and achieve key KPIs, including inventory targets, service levels, and inventory health.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and implement technical changes within the Blue Yonder (BY) environment or legacy systems such as creation and utilization of user defined tables and Flexible Editor pages or defined inventory policies
  • Drive the team to implement solutions that can be leveraged and adopted across our legacy systems increasing productivity and ROI while ensuring that a balance between internal and external best practices
  • Under the direction of the Senior Manager, leads the team that Identifies and engages with internal and external stakeholders to develop and instigate a roadmap of system upgrades and be the SME in the utilization of BY Demand, Supply and other modules within the portfolio
  • Key interface for Inventory Management for IT for requirements as a result of a change in process / solution and where technical/network issues are causing issues; maintain responsibility for the overall health of the system
  • Defines, manages business KPIs and reporting using Power BI or other automated solutions; owns governance reporting for Blue Yonder and other legacy systems, providing insight to stakeholders on non-conformance to policy
  • Champions a team to promote BY and Planning as a service across our business both to the Inventory team and the wider business community
  • Leads across the Supply Chain function as a business partner to our other Transformational projects that co-inside with the future planning roadmap offering guidance and support where applicable
  • Supports wider inventory management objectives to balance service, cost, and working capital
    Selects, manages and evaluates staff; develops and trains employees in activities related to job function requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree - Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Technology Finance or related field required; Masters Degree preferred
  • Licenses/Certificates/Designations - Institute for Supply Management (ISM), Blue Yonder (JDA) or other leading Advanced Planning System (APS), American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
  • 5 years of experience working with BY Demand or Fulfilment or other modules as a Subject Matter Expert with relevant training and/or certifications.
  • 3 years of experience with Supply Chain Planning applications, Inventory Optimization and/or Network Design (Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, o9, OMP, Oracle, SAP, or other leading Advanced Planning System)
  • 1 year supervisory or management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain processes, such as SIOP -Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning, Forecasting, Demand and Supply Planning, and Materials Management
  • High degree of mathematical and statistical knowledge, able to identify and analyze complex data, evaluate patterns and techniques to develop conclusions and insights used for the decision-making processes
  • Exceptional communication and support skills; ability to explain and demonstrate complex concepts and analytics to non-technical audience; translate user requirements into actionable data
  • Demonstrated ability to present to executive level or senior management within the Supply Chain or business partner environment
  • Keen Aptitude for working with both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Accomplished multi-tasking skills, ability to prioritize and manage many high value projects at once with ever shifting priorities and deadlines with ability to track and manage progress
  • Outstanding in MS Excel, Access, and/or PowerBI or other Business Intelligence (BI) Tools, e.g. Tableau, or Qlik
  • Experience working with a Master Data, COE or Analytics environment with certifications preferred
  • Ability to travel 25% - 50%

Compensation Details $119,327 - $161,092 Annually

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
