Overall Function Responsibilities:
Design & deliver

Integrated engineering workflow system covering authoring, design review & collaboration, up to MTO
-
Procurement management system with material tracking from MTO, procurement, QC, logistics, site inventory, material allocation plan (MAP)

Construction management solution with Workfront planning, resource allocation (men, material, P&M), const. progress monitoring, joint measurements & certifications, with embedded QC & safety

Project management solution with real-time schedule, progress, cost, quality and risk monitoring
Details of the job role:
-
Identify and evaluate applications and systems to meet the above business requirements.
-
Create AS-IS and TO-BE flow charts, SOPs with stakeholders to drive consensus of approach and requirements covering areas of Project Engineering (related to Drawings linked to Material Take-Offs and Workfront Management), Materials and SCM management, Services and Resource management, Project Management and Progress Monitoring and Controls, Business Analytics.

Collaborate with the Application Vendors, internal IT departments to finalize the process and application design, logics, controls and workflows.

Work with development teams for API integrations, UI/ UX design, application controls.

Prepare the detailed design document including comprehensive test scenarios and test plans for all business use cases.

Create test data, conduct system testing, orient and guide user teams for unit and integrated User Acceptance testing.

Lead walkthroughs and demos for business stakeholders and users during the beta rollout. Ensure smooth deployment in production environment.

Maintain and Create master data aligned with Engineering and Construction Management requirements. Define authorization protocols and controls.

Prepare phase wise implementation plans, conduct user trainings, prepare training materials, SOPs for smooth roll-outs and post implementation support. Address any concerns related to feasibility and timelines.
Functional Competencies:
-
Strong understanding of procurement processes (PR/PO for materials and services), materials management for projects, and services management (Service Orders/JMS), including associated systems and controls.

Experience with systems or applications supporting project execution in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC). Relevant experience as a key business user in these domains is also acceptable.

Deep expertise in at least one of the above areas, with a solid working knowledge of the others, will be considered.

Hands-on experience with SAP MM and other applications related to Project Management.

Proficient in MS Office and skilled in preparing SOPs, training materials, and documentation.

Experience Required:
7 - 10 years of overall work experience with 6 years of relevant work experience in Procurement / Logistics, Services Management and Project Management.
Some relevant experience of Systems development / implementation in SCM/ Project Mgt area.
Educational Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
MBA from a recognized university in Operations or Supply Chain Management preferred.
