Job Purpose:
The Manager – Digital & Innovation leads digital initiatives and pilots emerging technologies to enhance internal capabilities and digital services. He/ She identifies opportunities for workplace digitization, automation, and process improvement in alignment with business needs. The Manager – Digital & Innovation collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive the adoption of innovative solutions that elevate operational efficiency, customer engagement, and employee experience. He/ She ensures all digital activities align with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
Key Accountabilities:

Conducts research on market trends, emerging digital technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the banking industry.

Identifies opportunities to digitize products and processes that strengthen housing finance and digital banking.

Tracks Fintech, Proptech and Regtech developments and evaluates strategic partnerships to enhance digital capabilities.

Collaborates with academic institutions, industry experts, and research entities to support digital transformation initiatives.

Maintains a structured digital initiatives pipeline from ideation to prototyping and implementation.

Prepares feasibility studies and proof-of-concept reports to aid digital product development decisions.

Leads pilot programs to test the applicability of digital identity, smart contracts, and automation in banking.

Assesses emerging digital technologies and identifies applicable solutions for banking operations and services.

Coordinates with IT, cybersecurity, and implementation teams to integrate digital technologies while maintaining compliance.

Collaborates with Digital Delivery and Product teams to transition successful pilots into full-scale implementations.

Tracks performance, benefits, and lessons learned from all digital initiatives.

Maintains documentation and reporting of dashboards aligned with PMO and internal governance standards.

Assesses realized benefits and conducts post-implementation reviews to capture value outcomes.

Implements modern digital workplace tools to improve internal collaboration and service delivery.

Optimizes the use of enterprise platforms, automation software, and virtual workspaces.

Enhances staff productivity through the adoption of AI tools, hybrid work models, and employee experience platforms.

Develops and supports digital skills programs that enable staff to effectively use digital tools.

Applies cybersecurity and data governance protocols across all digital workplace initiatives.

Reviews and updates the digital workplace roadmap to ensure alignment with evolving technologies and organizational needs.

Ensures all digital research and development activities align with regulatory and internal governance standards.

Supports the creation of roadmaps for emerging digital technology adoption in line with the overall digital strategy.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

A Minimum of 6 years of experience in research & development, emerging technologies, or digital transformation.

Proven track record of executing R&D initiatives, managing technology assessments, and implementing digital workplace solutions.

Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing technology-driven projects.

Solid understanding of financial services, emerging technologies, and regulatory frameworks in the housing or finance industry.

Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting deadlines.
