Job Summary

Aivirtrix is seeking an experienced Manager – Domestic Inland Procurement to lead the company’s procurement practices for domestic logistics services. This role is responsible for supplier management, cost-saving initiatives, RFx management, contract negotiations, and implementing process improvements to enhance supplier performance and logistics efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead RFx process management: develop and manage RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes for sourcing domestic logistics services.
• Define scope, requirements, and timelines for RFx processes in alignment with business and logistics objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and select potential domestic logistics vendors (transportation, warehousing, distribution).
• Negotiate pricing and service agreements with vendors ensuring competitive terms.
• Manage contracts including drafting, compliance, and renewal tracking.
• Monitor vendor performance using KPIs, implement corrective actions, and conduct quarterly business reviews.
• Conduct market research on logistics trends, regulatory changes, and cost optimization opportunities.
• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, vendor status, and cost analysis.
• Ensure vendor compliance with laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales and operations.
• Provide training and mentorship to procurement staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong logistics and transportation experience (required)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)
• Proven supplier management and negotiation skills (required)
• Working knowledge of contract management practices (required)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently (required)
• Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (required)
• Cross-functional coordination and project management experience (required)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in cost-saving initiatives and RFx management (preferred)
• Knowledge of logistics technology platforms and industry trends (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams (preferred)

Education & Experience

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 6–8 years of direct experience in supplier management, logistics, and project management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit at a desk or computer for extended periods
• Lift/carry up to 20 lbs
• Stand/walk periodically

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
