Purpose:
The Manager, Events Operations leads the end-to-end operational framework for event delivery. This role integrates digital transformation with on-ground execution to ensure seamless, high-quality event experiences through automated workflows, strategic resource management, and precise logistical coordination.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Systems Automation and Digital Governance:

Manage the department’s digital infrastructure by optimizing venue reservation systems and online platforms, which involves replacing manual workflows with automated solutions to enhance transparency, data accuracy, and service accessibility across the institution
Stakeholder Coordination and VIP Protocol Management:

Act as the primary liaison for the community, translating event requests into actionable operational plans
Operational Logistics and Oversight:

Direct all physical event requirements, including signage installation, venue preparation, and food service oversight

Responsibilities extend to the end-to-end management of department assets, inventory storage, and the scheduling and safety compliance of the institutional golf cart fleet
Resource Stewardship and Administrative Management:

Oversee the unit’s administrative engine, including departmental budgeting, procurement lifecycles, and HR coordination

Ensure that staffing, training, and financial tracking are executed in full compliance with institutional policies and strategic goals
Performance Analytics and Risk Mitigation:

Transform operational data into strategic insights through regular KPI reporting and dashboard management

Lead on-site response teams to troubleshoot real-time issues, ensuring that all events are delivered safely and meet established excellence standards
General Administration Support:

Perform other related duties as requested from direct supervisor
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in related field
-
Minimum of 10 years of experience in events management, planning, administration and logistics

Previous experience in educational institution is preferable
Skills:

Technical and Systems Proficiency: Advanced command of Microsoft Office, SAP financial systems, and specialized venue reservation platforms, e.g., Ad-Astra

Operational Leadership and Resource Management: Proven ability to lead resource mobilization

Strategic Communication and Diplomacy: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic

Administrative and Organizational Excellence: Strong foundational skills in office administration, typing, and systematic record-keeping

Problem-Solving and Service Orientation: Proactive, customer-centric approach to service delivery, characterized by resilience, professionalism under stress, and a commitment to resolving operational challenges efficiently
